OSC New Motorcycle Instructor INFO Night
Thu, 12 January 2017, 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM EST
The Ottawa Safety Council is looking for a few good men and women!
The OSC has been involved in motorcycle rider training since 1967, and is the longest continuously running training program in Canada. Expanding interest in our programs sees us teaching the CSC “Gearing Up” program for beginners to as many as fifty people each weekend from the end of April through Thanksgiving each year, at two different sites. Many of you are probably familiar with our programs, and some of you may have started your riding career with us. If you wish to share your passion and expertise by introducing more people to our sport, please consider joining us. We will be having an information session in January 2017, with training running from January through April. The basic requirements are a full “M” license, three years of riding experience, and a good driving record. Please note that these are part-time volunteer positions, and although we receive reimbursement for some of our expenses, our instructors are not paid employees.
Come prepared to learn, take notes, and ask your questions.
We here at the OSC pride ourselves in setting the standards for safety, and our motorcycle training programs are no different.
Save the date:
