Event Details

The Government of Ontario’s Long-Term Energy Plan is critical as it will be laying out the path for energy procurement in the province for the next four to five years. With it, energy generators will have to plan and adapt accordingly.

The Ministry of Energy, in announcing its intention to re-evaluate Ontario’s LTEP and the subsequent indication that the complete refurbishment of its nuclear facilities is under review, has opened the door for sustainable energy generation to play a more prominent role Ontario’s energy future. The webinar will address the question of whether sustainable energy can take on a greater role in Ontario’s energy generation.

Purpose: The web-based panel discussion, moderated by OSEA’s Executive Director Kristopher Stevens, provides a forum to solicit feedback from OSEA members and non-members on how (and if) the LTEP should include an increased amount of sustainable energy.

Input from the webinar will help shape OSEA’s submission to the Ministry of Energy for the Long Term Energy Plan Review.
