What audience members have said about the show:
"A walk on the wild side of St. John’s history, populated by real characters with down to earth stories from the women who built our society and fought for their rights while struggling to make ends meet. An eye-opening inspiring encounter."
- Beni Malone, Artistic Director, Wonderbolt Circus
"A refreshing take on the walking tour, with sharp and witty talks on St John’s history from some of our ‘forgotten’ women - who pepper their points of view with the insights and humour of the ‘outsider’ - giving a view of St. John’s you won’t soon forget!."
- Louise Moyes, Docudance, Dancer-Storyteller-Writer
"Unforgettable characters walk out of the shadows of history and shift the narrative terrain. Working-class women talk us into their lives as they create a new sense of place in the old Colony in a moving testament to our foremothers."
- Gene Long, Historian
