The Executive Board of the OACETT Ottawa Chapter would like to invite all Members to our Holiday Gathering and Winter Chapter Meeting to be held at the Westboro Barley Mow, on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. From 6:30pm to 9pm.

This is a chance, as a chapter to get together before the holiday and share a little food and drink. And at the same time give back to the community in the form of a Toy Mountain Gift Collection. In additional to the social gathering we will also be holding our final Chapter meeting of 2019.

Parking: Paid parking on street or nearby on street local parking. (At own cost)

Fee: 5$A*

* All fees collected and any additional cash donations will be used to buy additional toys for the Toy Mountain donation.

Toy Mountain Gift Collection

In alignment with one of OACETT 2019 Strategic priority to increases our community engagement, we would like to use this gathering as an opportunity to collect a new, unwrapped toy to be donated the CTV Ottawa Toy Mountain campaign.

We are grateful for all toys that are donated, but please do not forget the tweens, teens and babies. We often fall short on gifts for these age groups so please consider these children when selecting a toy to donate. Here are some ideas of appropriate items for tweens and teens.

Tweens and teens (10 and up): curling irons, digital music players, hair dryers, hair kits, makeup kits, jewelry, electronics, books, hoodies, sporting goods, back packs, school supplies, board games, scarves, gloves and gift cards.

If you would prefer to donate cash, we will gladly accept it and it will be used to buy additional toys for the Toy Mountain donation

Chapter Meeting.

The Chapter meeting will focus on;

• A review and approval of the meeting minutes of the Fall Chapter Meeting

• A discussion of past chapter activates

• Planning of upcoming and future chapter actives for 2020.

• Planning for NEM 2020.
