When & Where
When Canadian businessman Shawn Dawson set out to climb the highest peak on each of the seven continents he felt that it would be more meaningful if his quest was part of a larger goal. He chose seven charities that reflect the mantra that helped him make the tough climb up to the top of Mount Everest, "one step at a time."
Any climber will tell you that making it up a mountain combines team work, individual effort, and a little luck.
This year Shawn and the Dream Mountains foundation will be heading to Everest Base Camp.
The team will be challenged to an experience that will change both their lives and those who will benefit from the funds raised.
To reach the overall fundraising goal of $100,000, each climber will be raising $5,000 for their chosen Dream Mountains’ Charity.
It's a big challenge, but not too big for the kind of person who has set their sights on reaching the roof of the world.
The co-organizer of The Mens Business Meating , Darren Prashad is not only the coordinator of this trek but he is taking it upon him self to join the team and go on the trek.
Darren will be raising funds for CARE Canada and with your support and the success of this event he hopes to surpass his fundraising goal..
