The Ottawa Mycological Society will be meeting for it's second time ever for a Late Spring Foray. What will we find? We all have our fingers crossed for some morels! That being said, we suggest you come for the fresh air and to meet like-minded mushroom-loving folks, and if you find a mushroom, hallelujah!

Whether or not there are mushrooms, it's a beautiful area and we know you'll love it. Bring your boots, because it could be muddy!

We plan to host many forays throughout the Spring, Summer and Autumn, so stay tuned for all our events. If you would like to join us or stay up to date on future events, come check out our group on Think Fungi!

Few Additional Details:

• You can expect to have to traverse puddles or muddy areas - boots are highly recommended.
• Bring anything you might want: water, snack, field guides, umbrella, change of shoes, an extra layer, insect repellent and/or sunscreen.
• Mushroom hunting is like a treasure hunt, and it's not always bountiful. Come to discover all of nature and enjoy the walk along the trail.
• Don't pick anything. Please leave everything where it is for everyone to discover.
• This foray will not include a Sauté & Social (a portion of the event where we cook, eat and socialize together). This is due to the time of year as well as COVID concerns.
• The Ottawa Mycological Society is a volunteer-run group and does not take responsibility for any issues which arise during this gathering. Please be respectful of others and of the environment.
• All donations made go to the Ottawa Mycological Society.
