About this Event

Physical activity is a major contributor to one's health and wellbeing. People of all ages are meant to move! How does one keep moving, avoid injury and enjoy longer duration in your favourite activities and sports?

At the next Our Health event, June 18, we have a team of experts who will help us understand the challenges and complexities of sports injuries. They are athletes, coaches and skilled health professionals. Their experience extends from soccer to walking, golf to pickleball, weight lifting to adventure racing, hockey to biking, skiing to swimming. They walk, and run, the talk! Learn about preventing sports injuries, treatment, rehabilitation and getting back in the game with confidence. This program will be of interest to you, whether you are an elite athlete, a member of a sports team, a weekend warrior or someone who simply enjoys walking.

If you are unable to attend in person, Sports Injuries from 9 to 99 will be available to watch online on "Our Health" Videos from Rogers about four weeks after the program.

There are often seats available at the door on the day of the event, but these will be offered on a first-come, first serve basis admission and cannot be guaranteed without registration.

Admission is free with your registration (opens May 15).
