Christmas Ball

Kick off your Christmas season in a spectacular and meaningful way. Join Company of Disciples and City in Focus at the Sheraton Wall Centre for the second annual Christmas Ball featuring keynote speaker William Paul Young, author of New York Times Bestseller, The Shack. This delightful evening includes a dinner buffet, live music by the Eli Bennett Jazz Quartet, and performances by Roy and Rosemary, Stradivari Orchestra, and movement storyteller Dianna David. PLUS: A portion of all ticket revenue will go towards the relief and aid to the Philippines.

Truest Colour: Being Fully Human

Company of Disciples provides safe places for people to connect, find support, and explore the relevance of their Christian faith with regards to their identity, life, and work. Our various events and programs effectively encourage people to critically engage what it means to be truly human.

This year’s Christmas Ball highlights our mission to enable people in discovering their “truest colour.” Our speaker and performers will enlighten us on who our truest colour is and its implications to our very being. Come and join us at the Ball, and invite friends and family as we continue to explore and encourage one another in discovering our truest colour!

Meet Our Emcees

Mary Zilba

Mary Zilba

Mary is no stranger to the camera. Her work in media began when she won the coveted Ms. Ohio title after completing her BA in Journalism and TV Broadcasting. She then worked as a reporter and TV host for several years and later transitioned into career as a recording artist, scoring seven top 40 hits and recording three albums. To many British Columbians though, Mary is perhaps best known for being “the nice one” on Slice’s Real Housewives of Vancouver. When Mary’s not entertaining audiences, she raises awareness for Amnesty International, is a passionate advocate for anti-bullying, and works tirelessly to raise funds for health research.

Adam Schellenberg

Adam Schellenberg

Adam has a love of quality entertainment film and video, and has worked on productions across North America and throughout and Asia. He’s been active in media production since 2003, and collaborates regularly with marketing agencies, heavy industry businesses, and faith-based organizations and not-for-profits. When not producing media, Adam serves as VP of the Company of Disciples Board, is an avid hamburger connoisseur, and the root-beer equivalent of a sommelier. Adam has a degree in media studies from the University of the Fraser Valley, and a BA in Communications from Simon Fraser University.
