Fueled by Japanese historical and pop culture, classical Indian tabla rhythms and cartoons, this new duet reveals projections of the self through the eyes of a partner, through the dynamic of a couple and through the genre defying music of experimental Japanese percussionist Asa Chang.

Out Innerspace Dance Theatre is devoted to creating contemporary dance and dance on screen with distinct integrity and artistry. Officially formed in 2007, Out Innerspace is determined to be innovative yet accessible, to push beyond traditional aesthetics and forms with unreserved ingenuity. Through research and experimentation, Out Innerspace recognizes the importance of challenging our preconceptions of what can be expected, experienced and expounded in contemporary dance.
