About this event
"Owen 'O'Sound' Lee is an artist, musician, songwriter, vocal arranger, and producer from Toronto, Ontario, who extended his musical reach to the East Coast of Canada in 2014. He is the Minister of Music at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Upper Hammonds Plains, the Program Coordinator of the African Nova Scotian Music Association (ANSMA), and touring keyboardist for Classified.
Most recently, Owen was nominated for the 2021 African Canadian Artist of the Year for Music Nova Scotia and the East Coast Music Association, as well as the Hip Hop Recording of the Year for the East Coast Music Association. He also won Single of The Year for the 2021 African Nova Scotian Music Awards, and received a gold plaque for his cowriting work on Classified's 2020 release 'Good News.'"
John Gracie is a multiple award winning singer/songwriter and JUNO nominee. He has travelled the globe with his music and has a catalogue of 15 albums that cover folk, country, jazz, Americana and Holiday music. Gracie has had great success with his Christmas albums selling over 60,000 units, and performing this show across North America, including the Boston Tree Lighting and the Tree Lighting in Manhattan's Bryant Park.

This year's most-wonderful-time-of-year will require some extra precautions and care to help keep it safe and wonderful. Evergreen Festival has been planned in partnership with Nova Scotia Public Health in adherence with the latest public health guidelines. The organizers will continue taking preventative measures, following the epidemiology, and making changes when and if necessary.
As mandated by the Government of Nova Scotia, proof of vaccination and masks are required to attend this event.
- Face masks must be worn to enter the festival site and must be worn in common areas on the Festival site (ie, washrooms, bar). Masks can be taken off once seated.
- Each pod is physically distanced from the other.
- Hand sanitizer and extra face masks will be available on the festival site.
