Event description

Description

Learn how to make your own hand carved paddle!
Under the skillful guidance of John Wager this is a two day workshop.
John's extensive knowledge on woodworking and passion for sharing his skills, combined with a simple step-by-step process, makes this a relaxed, rewarding endeavour for everyone.
The workshop consists of layout, rough carving, fine carving and optional sanding. All tools are provided. You will go home with an understanding of how to properly care for your paddle to ensure its longevity.

**NOTE
We will contact participants individually closer to the workshop date to obtain your height.
Paddles are carved in proportion to the "paddlers height" therefore raw material length for the paddle carving requires this information PRIOR to carving.
