30th Anniversary Screening!
The title White Men Can’t Jump makes it one of the best misunderstood films of its time and genre. It is not simply a sports movie--it’s a comedy that is one part buddy film, one part romantic comedy, and stir. It’s smart and thoughtful and the best part, it holds up incredibly well. It’s aging well and, in many ways, it seems to be continuing its growth as a classic.
Beyond its top-tier action sequences, full characters, and razor-wit dialogue, you’re looking at a film that makes even more sense now than it did thirty years ago.
