Description

Palpation in an Osteopathic Approach to Assessment, Clinical Anatomy and Conclusion. Exploring Basic to Advanced Skills.

Hours: Fri 12-7, Sat 9-5, Sun 9-5 (23 hours total)

Palpatory skills are the essence of osteopathy and other health practices including massage therapy, chiropractic, physiotherapy and many others. Good palpatory clinical assessment allows practitioners to successfully treat more complex conditions including myofascial, visceral, neurological, osteoarticular and many others. Knowledge is acquired over years of professional clinical experience. This course helps health practitioners to develop fine palpatory skills, and find the source of different conditions and disorders. Students will learn the myofascial chains, detailed neurological connections with somatic and visceral systems and how treat somatic and visceral dysfunctions..
