Event description
For youth 18-30: a virtual discussion and Q&A led by social innovation leaders across the country, as part of MaRS Impact Week.

About this Event

With the pandemic and social movements awakening Canadians across the country, social innovation is needed - now, more than ever - to mitigate inequality. Our panel of experts, moderated by SIA Program Advisor Aditi Sriram, will discuss how social innovation can bolster communities who have been underrepresented and create a more just Canada.

This panel discussion is part 2 of Impact Exchange: the flagship event for youth 18 - 30 at MaRS Impact Week. Impact Exchange is hosted by three national, impact-focused, youth-driven organizations: HSBC Social Innovation Academy, National Social Value Fund, and Railyard Lab. While the discussion is geared towards youth 18-30, we invite people of all ages to attend and listen to this important conversation.

If you're a youth 18-30, apply to participate in our Innovation Jam (part 1 of Impact Exchange), a fun, solutions-based competition bringing together youth teams to solve a bite-sized problem for social enterprises, non-profits, co-operatives, and charities.
