Online workshop on how to parent the Internet Generation, including social media, screen time, and cyber bullying.

About this event

This online workshop includes tips and strategies for parents of children between the ages of 12-17 years, to:

  • talk to their teens about online privacy and how to protect themselves
  • monitor and set limits on screen time
  • understand the risks/effects of cyber bullying and how to protect children against cyber bullying
  • promote safe screen-time usage

This workshop is offered free of charge to parents/caregivers of Peel District School Board (PDSB) and Dufferin-Peel District Catholic School Board (DPCDSB) students. The workshop will be facilitated by Mental Health Professionals from Associated Youth Services of Peel (AYSP).
