Every second Sunday, Brady Muller of Ciboulette Cafe will host a class at the Park Avenue Community Oven in the Dartmouth Commons, showcasing the versatility of the public wood-fired oven. Learn from local chefs just how versatile the oven can be by watching a cooking demonstration, then tasting chefs' creations. Feel free to bring some food to cook in the oven after the demonstration. Check out parkoven.ca for ideas and tips.
The oven is located in Leighton Dillman Park in the Dartmouth Commons, directly through the park entrance on Park Avenue.
Sunday, September 15. 2-3pm Brady Muller of Ciboulette Cafe will demonstrate three desserts of various skill levels to cap off any wood-fired oven meal. We'll start with an easy one - baked apples, then progress to peach cobbler, and finish with a real challenge -- Baked Alaska! That's right -- ice cream in the wood-fired oven!
