Is your workplace managing psychological hazards well? With a shifted focus to the importance of workplace health and wellness, workplaces need tools to “Manage a Healthy Workplace”. Our first session does not just provide resources. It provides practical tools, advice and best practices for managers and supervisors. The WSIB is allowing claims for workplace mental stress; we need to know how to manage these claims and conduct result-orientated investigations before this impacts your businesses.

Topics that will be addressed include:

  • Mental Health
    This discussion will focus on the following questions; What is mental stress and how do we have this conversation with our workers? What are the signs and symptoms? How do we respond? What are the tools of prevention?

  • Mental Stress Claims in Ontario
    During this discussion, we will discuss processing these claims, handling objections, supporting documentation, return to work for mental stress tools, and general tips.

  • Wellness
    During our healthy lunch break, join the discussion on bringing wellness into action for your workplace. Offering services is not enough; we need actions, steps and results.

  • Workplace Harassment Investigations
    Gain insights and learn what you can and should not ask, say or assume when investigating incidents of harassment in the workplace.

  • Case Scenarios and Q&A
    Practice the tools we learned in our sessions today and ask the difficult questions!
