Passive vs Active Heating Strategies for Net Zero
Event Information
About this Event
We know we need to stop using natural gas to heat our buildings, but why isn’t it happening?
This Lunch and Learn will look at how the building industry will change over the next ten years and why installing a fossil fuel based heating system is actually the riskiest thing you can do.
We’ll dig into why geothermal heating and cooling is the best and easiest way to achieve Net Zero energy on all building types (including renovations).
With the popularity of high performance Passive House buildings, we hear about passive hearing but what about active heating? What role do each play in getting off natural gas?
Real-life examples and case studies will be presented to reinforce that this is an effective and feasible to build sustainably.
Let's move our building industry to Net Zero and beyond.
