Passport to Nature: Rock, Dirt, Glaciers and Grikes
Sat, 16 September 2017, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM EDT
The Wolf Run area in the Carden Plain lies about two kilometers south of the Precambrian-Paleozoic contact, the boundary between the outcrop areas of the ancient crystalline rocks of the Canadian Shield and the flat-lying marine sedimentary rocks that underlie much of Southern Ontario.
Bring a lunch and be prepared for the day. We’ll follow John’s lead for a route and to discuss more about this interesting area.
