What just fluttered by? Discover more about amazing butterflies and insects from Stan Caveney, an enthusiastic entomologist and naturalist who will lead the hike through the meadows and ravine forest at Wardsville Woods. We will be walking through long grass where biting insects and ticks are possible and participants should take appropriate precautions.

No nets are required as we will be using cameras and binoculars. Binoculars will be available to share and you might even learn some hints about photographing these beauties.

How to Get There:

From London (approx 50 mins) follow Longwoods Road/County Road 2 west through Delaware to Wardsville. From the main intersection in Wardsville (Hagerty Road), continue 0.8 km west to the parking area for Wardsville Woods on the right.
