Event description

Description

*Please note that the booklet states that the event is Sunday, October 30th, which is incorrect. The correct event date is Saturday, October 26th.

Why do we have so many kinds of trees? Join Donald Craig, a professional forester with over 40 years of experience in southern Ontario woodlands, for an interpretive hike through the Tanager Tract. Donald will identify trees in this significant Carolinian woodland, point out which ones are healthy or struggling and explain why they are growing where they are.

How to Get There:

From London (approx. 40 min drive) - take HWY 401 Westbound towards Windsor. Take Exit 137 towards Graham St/County Rd 76 and turn Right (south). Turn right immediately onto Queens Line and follow for 3.6km. Turn left onto Kerr Road and continue for 0.5km to meet at the property sign on your left. Carpooling is encouraged.
