Every year on Toronto Centre Island, there is always a big Dragon Boat Race event. This event originated from the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival, one of the most important holidays in China. Chinese immigrants have brought it to Canada and still celebrate it as their cultural and traditional festival. This year the Dragon Boat Race Festival takes place on June 3rd, 2022, which is the15th day of the 5th month according to the Chinese Lunar Calendar.

Please join us to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival, learn its history and how to make the traditional Food --Zongzi. This program is for all ages.
