Glimpse the future of classical music with the young talent fostered here in our own backyard by Amici Strings. "Adoration" is a beautiful meditation by Florence Price for string orchestra, bringing you into the realm of the poetic. "Spring" by Max Richter is a reworking of Vivaldi's famous season, turning the familiar into something completely foreign. Contrasted with this is Vivaldi's original "Summer," expertly performed by 2025 Kensington Sinfonia Concerto Competition Winner Katrice Shu.

After a short break, Kensington Sinfonia returns with Das Dage, by Sami composer Mette Henriette. This piece, whose title translates to "The Dawn," takes its inspiration from

To round out the program, pianist extraordinaire Jani Parsons leads Kensington Sinfonia through "Rounds," a vigorous and challenging pairing for string orchestra and piano.
