Event description
The main goal of our conference is to bring together educators teaching EAL to adults in Manitoba to share knowledge and expertise.

About this event

Conference topics include but are not limited to the following:

Engagement Through Time Zones, Zoom Fatigue, Hybrid Learning, Virtual Classroom Management, Building Online Communities,Physical Space vs. Online, Lesson Creation, Best Teaching Practices, Past methodology vs. current methodology, Assessment Practices in our virtual learning environment, Compassion & Flexibility, Tech Issues, Solutions, & Back-up plans, Positive Outcomes, Teachers’ Struggles—Mental & Physical Health, Benefits of COVID-19 Shift Online to Teaching Practices (forced people to try online teaching, more freedom for shift workers, parents of small kids, people with disabilities to take online classes, TESOL Sponsoring New Teachers Online, or Teaching Tips
