Event description

Path of the Artist is a journey of self-inquiry using therapeutic art experiences to explore of the intuitive, symbolic – or what is called the ‘oneiric’ mind: the mind of universal symbols and archetypes. Learn to work with both hemispheres of the brain – the intuitive and the rational, and move into a transpersonal state of consciousness to create art from a meditative perspective.

If you are looking for a renewed sense of creativity and more access to your artistic nature, this weekend is for you. It offers techniques to improve composition and execution, an enhanced understanding of the creative process, and a deepened connection to one’s inner vision. Complimented with an experience of working with a range of materials, and the opportunity to produce an original piece of work.

Join Samantha Salvat for the next workshop to explore the humanistic, transpersonal and holistic (Energy, Body, Mind, Emotion, Spirit) aspects of the individual as seen through Art. This is a hands-on, interactive, group experience; a series of processes to help open your creative power and assist the artist within you to become even more conscious. With a growing awareness of the transpersonal a deep inner voice emerges to guide the creative expressions of our Art.

PATH OF THE ARTIST ~ Evolution through Transpersonal Visual Art Therapy

  • Embark on a journey of personal healing and an expansion of consciousness and awareness through the visual art therapy process;

  • Learn more about the symbolic language of the subconscious and the ‘oneiric’ mind, and learn how it affects our state of harmony and balance;

  • Unblock your creative flow and engage your inner artist;

  • Heighten your sensory awareness, and develop your observer;
