Local singer songwriter Paul Weber is excited to publicly launch his latest CD, “Ode to Gerry Barber”. Conceived in a fire and born in a pandemic, the album is a fascinating collection of songs about Ottawa and the valley, past and present.
Paul is a local singer songwriter, engaging storyteller and a high-energy live performer. He enjoys telling stories of community and daily life, stories that don't make the news. With one foot in the narrative folk tradition and another in the digital world, Paul's live shows often include video, making for a deep-dive immersion into the music and stories.
Laughter and toe-tapping have been known to breakout.
Come spend an evening listening to tales you don’t find in history books. Stories of bouncers, landmarks, drag queens, circus parades and other local legends.
This will be a multi-media show and will feature an 8-person backup band.
