The Paws to Read® program is designed to match children with a certified therapy dog and their handler for a fun one-on-one reading session! Studies have shown that reading to dogs encourages confidence and boosts self-esteem in children. Reading out loud to a Paws to Read® dog boosts literacy and makes reading fun!
Caregivers may book a series of three or four 20 minute one-on-one classes for each child.
Presented in partnership with Therapeutic Paws of Canada, a non-profit charitable organization.
