PCAP Core Training - Spring 2017 - Edmonton
Wed, 17 May 2017, 8:30 AM – Fri, 19 May 2017, 4:00 PM MDT
The Parent-Child Assistance Program (PCAP) 3-Day Core Training is an essential training to introduce new staff to the PCAP Model and provide strategies for challenges you may face in your role as a PCAP Mentor. Our Alberta PCAP Trainers have been trained by Dr. Therese Grant from the University of Washington, founder of the PCAP Model. Trainers deliver the content in an interactive and engaging way, providing stories from personal experience in PCAP and related programs. Participants will receive a PCAP Training Manual, the Difference Game card deck, and handouts of information and resources.
PAYMENT POLICY: The PCAP Council reserves the right to cancel any registrations if payment is not received 2 weeks prior to training. If a cheque is not received 2 weeks prior to training, the agency will have the opportunity to pay via credit card to maintain their registration. This is to minimize the losses absorbed by the PCAP Council associated with no-shows (ex. catering, printing, service fees). We appreciate your cooperation in helping keep our operating costs down so we may continue to provide subsidized training and event registrations to PCAP programs across the province.
