Connecting with People in Your Field: Learn the ‘where, how and why’ of networking

It is a fact that many jobs are filled without ever being advertised. How can you tap into these hidden opportunities? Networking.

Networking is a skill we use every day and one that we can always improve. It is about fostering and contributing to meaningful professional relationships and when done effectively can greatly enhance our professional lives.

This session outlines the value of networking, teaches effective networking strategies, and provides an overview on where you can start utilizing your networking skills.

Offered by Candice Stoliker, BSc., MA., Career Educator, U of T Career Centre
