Donations (Dana)
Buddhist teachings have been supported for thousands of years with lay practitioners supporting monastics and the monastics supporting the lay community. It is thus customary to give a donation to the monastics to support them in their practice. The retreat fee of $75 covers the basic cost of accommodation and food. The monastics receive no money for this trip other than what we donate to them. Making a donation is a way to practice generosity and to express our appreciation of their teaching and practice. Donation box is available at retreat.
