Peace of Mind: A Mini Introduction to Raja Yoga Meditation

This workshop is designed specifically for those individuals living outside of the Halifax Regional Municipality. Due to long driving distances, these individuals are unable to attend our regularly scheduled introductory classes. These classes are delivered on a regular basis for 5 consecutive Wednesday evenings (7-9:00 pm).

In this mini workshop we will learn:

-The history and purpose of the Brahma Kumaris Worldwide Organization

-Key strategy for becoming a master of one's state of mind

-How to manage ineffective thought patterns

-A paradigm that expands our sense of Identity

-A 4- step approach for entering and sustaining a raja yoga meditation practice

Raja Yoga is ‘yoga for the mind’. It helps to focus the energy of thinking in directions that create and sustain the experience of peace, love and happiness.

Learning to enter into a natural state of calm on a daily basis helps us to think more deeply, feel greater empathy and live our values, improving our well-being.

Registration required. No charge.
