The event will hold an exhibition of special and original art from the Syrian city of Kafranbel as well as deep and amazing caricatures by Syrian artist Mwafaq Katt. The event will also have special guest speaker and media activist Eiad Charbaji and musical performance by Dylan Connor. Moreover, we will have Tara Sutton - A Canadian journalist - to talk to us about her experiences and the humanitarian work she's been doing for Syrian Refugees in Jordan.

Kafranbel is a small city in Idlib north of Syria. Since the beginning of the Syrian revolution, its people have used their creativity and artistic skills to ensure that their voices are being heard. A few Syrian activists living abroad managed to get in to this town and bring back many of these ORIGINAL drawings made by the people in Kafranbel to North America. Join us on Saturday, April 13th at Assembly Hall - Toronto to see these one of a kind posters from the revolution. These posters symbolize the plight Syrians are facing on a day-to-day basis. You will not want to miss out on seeing the historic artwork from this peaceful revolution.

Snacks and refreshment will be available for sale. No babysitting is offered at the event venue.

Syria's revolution is now in its 22nd month and Dictator Bashar al-Assad shows no sign of giving up anytime soon. To date, more than 65,000 innocent civilians have been killed by the Assad regime, including 4,300+ children. There are more than 714,000 Syrian refugees in neighboring countries and more than 4 MILLION people have now been displaced inside the country. And every day the situation in Syria is getting exponentially worst.

Donating a few dollars will go a long way in making a difference in a Syrian’s life. Please attend and invite your friends to this event!
