About this event
We are celebrating PechaKucha Night 40, as part of Edmonton's NextGen Farewell Tour!
Over the past decades, Edmonton's NextGen along with PechaKucha have brought together initiatives, dreams and projects with the people of Edmonton. Our city is so incredibly talented and we are so thankful to all our speakers for getting up on stage. As a thank you to the community and our past/present speakers, we are hosting one last PKN event full of surprises and fun.
The event will be held in Ziedler Dome at the TELUS World of Science. Plus, you will have exclusive access to the Whales Exhibit in advance of the PKN presentations. You will also receive a few surpise goodies for coming out to our last PechaKucha Night event!
Doors Open: 6pm
Whales Exhibit Open: 6-7pm
Presentations Start: 7pm (an intermission will be held halfway through the presentations)
EARLY BIRD TICKET SPECIAL!
Tickets are 2 for $30 until 11:59pm on March 17, 2023. Grab a friend and save by buying your tickets early. Starting March 18, tickets will be $20 per person.
The presenters will be announced shortly. Stay tuned as we have a stellar line-up of presenters that you do not want to miss!
What is a 20x20 PechaKucha?
The PechaKucha 20x20 presentation format is a slide show of 20 images, each auto-advancing after 20 seconds. It’s non-stop and you've got 400 seconds to tell your story, with visuals guiding the way. PechaKucha was created in Japan in 2003 by renowned architects, Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham. The word “PechaKucha” is Japanese for “chit chat.”
We cannot wait to celebrate our final PechaKucha Night with Edmonton's NextGen with you!
