Event description
Take control of your life, innovate yourself, live with intention, and design a well-lived, valuable, and meaningful life.

About this Event

In a transition? Are you feeling stuck? Perhaps you have lost your sense of direction? Are you looking for renewed value and meaning in your life? It’s never too late to tackle these challenges and re-invent yourself in the process! You can take control of your life, innovate yourself, live with intention, and design a well-lived, valuable, and meaningful life relative to your work, your health, your play, and your relationships?

Designers create experiences and products and solve problems using a methodology called design thinking. Look around your office or home – at the smartphone you may be holding, the chair you are sitting in, or the coffee mug on your desk. Someone designed everything in our lives. Every design starts with a problem that a designer or a team of designers seeks to solve. You can employ the same methods used to create amazing products for your life!

Come to this session and explore why some of our deep-rooted beliefs about life can limit our success. Learn the mindsets, skills, and habits needed for personal innovation. Discover ways to enhance your self-awareness so that you can get clarity into who you are, what you believe, and what you do. Be guided through the robust and time-tested design thinking methodology. Embrace personal innovation and unlock the secret to building a life of value and meaning.

All attendees will receive a copy of the book" Designing Your Life - How to Build a Well-Lived, Joyful Life" by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans.

**Please note: A nominal registration fee of $50 is being charged to cover the cost of resources and refreshments. Thanks to SAP Canada for providing the conference room for this session.
