Event description

Description

Cannabis is about to become legal in Canada. With the change in the law, many questions arise. Who will have access to cannabis? How will cannabis be produced safely? Where will it be sold - drugstores? Cannabis dispensaries? What is the difference between recreational and medicinal cannabis? What about impaired driving?

Join us for a stimulating discussion with three distinguished panelists, who will be providing their unique perspectives on the issues.

Dr. Elaine Hyshka, BA, MA, PhD, Assistant Professor, University of Alberta School of Public Health

John Simon, BSc, CQA, RAC, Quality Assurance/Regulatory Consultant, Alberta Green Biotech Inc.

Lance McClean, Partner, Criminal Defence Lawyer, Dawson Duckett Shaigec & Garcia

Moderator: Eleanor Olszewski, QC, MLT Aikins LLP

There is no cost to attend this event, however donations to help cover expenses will be appreciated.
