Perspectives on Cybercrime from one of the FBI's Most Wanted
Join us for this unique opportunity for an interactive and dynamic ONLINE session featuring Brett Johnson - Keynote Speaker and Consultant on Cybersecurity, Cybercrime and Identity Theft.
ABOUT OUR EVENT
Tonight’s presentation will provide rare insight into the mind of a cybercriminal from one who was formerly one of the "best in the business".
Learn how easy it is for cybercriminals to penetrate networks and get what they're after using a variety of tactics. Discover some of the tricks of the trade so you can educate your end-users and better equip them to recognize phishing (and spear-phishing) attacks.
You will come away from this session with a better appreciation of how cybercriminals think and what steps you can take to train your end-users to detect and thwart phishing attacks, how to improve password hygiene and how to harden your own and your clients' or employers' networks.
ABOUT OUR PRESENTER
Called by the United States Secret Service "The Original Internet Godfather", Brett Johnson built and ran the first organized cybercrime community--ShadowCrew.
Brett Johnson was responsible for refining modern financial cybercrime as we know it today. After being placed on the FBI's Most Wanted List, captured and convicted of 39 felonies, Brett promptly escaped prison. Captured again, Brett served his time, accepted responsibility, and found redemption through his loved ones and the help of the FBI.
Today Brett is considered a leading authority on internet crime, identity theft, and cybersecurity. Brett speaks and consults across the planet to help protect people and organizations from the type of person he used to be.
