Come get the inside scoop on Merit Travel Peterborough's hosted group departure to Northern Ireland this spring!

In May 1825, Irish immigrants boarded 9 ships heading towards Peterborough to settle. This was part of an experimental emigration plan to transport poor Irish families to Upper Canada. Many descendants from those original settlers still reside in Peterborough County today. The year of 2020 will celebrate the 195th anniversary of the Peter Robinson Settlers in Canada.
