Objectives:
  • Overview the epidemiology and outcomes of Chagas Cardiomyopathy in South America
  • Discuss special considerations for conducting randomized controlled trials in the developing world
  • Discuss how RCTs can inform treatment guidelines on a global stage

The Global Medicine Journal Club is led by PGME Global Health Education Initiative and University of Toronto Department of Medicine.

This club aims to engage current and graduate GHEI participants with the
PGME global health community in discussion of medical global issues and provide a supportive environment for all.
