Event description

Description

Scientists and technology leaders are telling us that all human physical and intellectual labour can and will eventually be replaced by AI, robotics and nanotechnology.

But what does this mean for human life? How does one live in society without an economic purpose? Could living in the shadows of technology, perpetually humbled by its capabilities, be fulfilling?

Join us for a lively discussion in a casual pub setting.

The evening will begin with a presentation covering current thought & literature on this topic, then the discussion will be opened up to all attendees.

Admission is free but space is limited, so register now to secure your spot.

The “Philosophy Night” series is presented by the Centre for Human Success, a Toronto-based non-profit dedicated to catalysing public discussion on technological issues. Our full list of upcoming events is available here.
