Description

Come celebrate with us!

This semi-formal event is all about celebrating YOU, our Phoenix Taekwon-do family. 30 years ago this October, we opened our doors with seven students at Club Macombo in St. Albert. Today we boast over 800 active students and have touched thousands of peoples lives in our community over our 30 year history. Phoenix Taekwon-do and Master Stanley are key players in the expansion of ITF style Taekwon-do in Western Canada, in fact, most of the ITF-style schools in Alberta trace back to Master Stanley in some fashion. This is quite the feat and YOU are now part of that legacy.

This vintage carnival-themed event is family friendly starting the evening with carnival games, face painting, popcorn, balloon animals, and cotton candy for our young students. Guests can bid on the silent auction being held for the Phoenix members heading to The Netherlands in 2017 for the ITF World Championships. The evening continues with a red carpet enterance of our VIPs before we sit down for a fabulous homestyle dinner.

The evening will continue with entertainment like demonstrations from our black belts and colour belts. Students and parents from around Phoenix will be recognized during our Phoenix Awards ceremony. Nomination forms will be available from July to September.

The evening will end with a dance starting at 9:00PM - Mr. Redman and Mr. Friesen are excellent dancers, so don't miss an opportunity to spin around the dance floor with them ladies!

We are so excited about this event ! Please mark your calendars and bring your friends and family to celebrate with us.
