Description

We are very pleased to launch our first Industry Night in 2019 and are highly honoured to have our first prestigious guest to share her impressive leadership experience in multiple world-renowned Investment Banks and her insights about the landscape and evolution of M&A industry in China and North America.

The past 2018 is a turbulent year for Canada, China and the US. Looking forward, 2019 is still a bumpy road ahead. Unsettled trade war, tariff disputes and political conflicts among the three countries have caused considerable uncertainties for the world economy given these countries' economic scale and strategic importance.

As one of the most important barometers for the economy, M&A activities are highly sensitive to the economic and political situations in countries and regions. A good understanding of the trend and the rational beneath can help position yourself well for making decisions not only for business, career but also some long term choices for your life.

So, you are very welcome to join us on Tuesday night at Rotman School of Management if

  • You want to get well informed when making choices for your business, career or long-term life goals relating to the above countries.

  • You want to broaden your network with working professionals, business owners or anyone sharing a similar interest in economic communications between China and North America.

  • You are highly interested in the first-hand details and stories behind some M&A deals within the three countries.
