Pipeline Sustainable Development Seminar and Systems Thinking Workshop

Have you ever wondered about the future of the pipeline industry? Is there a way to develop sustainable pipeline projects in Canada?
The Young Pipeliner’s Association of Canada (YPAC) in Calgary is proud to present the seminar about Sustainable Development as part of the Pipeline Project Life Cycle Discussion Series. These series provide insight from industry experts into various aspects of a liquids pipeline project.
Join us for thought-provoking event that will provide participants with an understanding of how the pipeline industry is transforming. Andrea Jalbert, Vice President of Community, Safety and Environment at TransCanada will be providing an insightful presentation into how companies have been working with stakeholders on issues related to environment, community and indigenous relations during the life cycle of a pipeline – but focusing mostly on the design and development phase.
Following this, participants will take part in a Systems Thinking Workshop that will allow for individuals to navigate through complex systems to solve problems. The Case Study that will be explored during the workshop will be the development of a Pipeline Project in Canada. Learn how to progress through everyday challenges in the pipeline industry with holistic view and understanding of the big picture.
