In business today, it seems that everyone is pitching. They are pitching ideas and business concepts. Frequently a business owner will be called on to “pitch” their business to a group of stakeholders. This can be a daunting task and that requires courage, strategy, a well-crafted script and lots of practice. In this practical workshop you will learn how to create and deliver a powerful pitch for your business.

What Will I Learn?
• How to craft and present an effective pitch (Personal Introductory or Business) to your stakeholders
• Clarify your objective- what do you want to ask for? Why?
• Identify your audience-to whom will you be pitching
• Craft a script for your pitch-using the building blocks of a Great presentation
• Tips for pitching with confidence

Since 1999 Harold has had the privilege of assisting hundreds of people with the development of their business ventures. Business ventures that are the dreams, or at least, means to achieve their dreams and aspirations of the people he has served. Building on his own 10 year experience of self-employment, Harold is able to relate on many levels to the people he serves, through one-on-one consultations, coaching and experiential learning techniques. Currently, Harold is an associate faculty member of the School of Business, Hospitality and Design at Conestoga College in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada where he teaches Entrepreneurship and Strategic Business Planning. After nearly 20 years of coaching, facilitating and speaking Harold estimates that he has been able to assist of more than 1000 business owners in the start-up and early growth of their ventures. He likes to refer to himself as “the Crazy Uncle that winds people up and sends them off to chase their dreams of self-employment.”
