ABOUT SUSAN WOLF
Susan Wolf is a multidisciplinary artist working in animation and dance-based performance. Her current research focuses on animating through a choreographic lens.

Wolf holds a BA from McGill University and a BFA from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University. She also apprenticed through the National Film Board of Canada’s Hothouse program (Montreal, PQ). Wolf has participated in residencies in the US and Canada, including at BANFF Centre for the Arts and the Atlantic Centre for the Arts (New Smyrna Beach FL). Recent professional recognition includes grants from the Canada Council, the National Film Board of Canada’s Filmmakers Assistance Program, and Nova Scotia Arts Grants to Individuals.

ABOUT TORONTO ANIMATED IMAGE SOCIETY
As an artist-run non-profit production centre, TAIS supports animation art making by independent artists, with a focus on skills development. Our membership continues to expand to include contemporary multi-disciplinary artists, media artists, and 3D and VR animators who join the classical, digital hand-drawn, and stop motion animators that have long standing relationships with TAIS. Our members work in narrative and experimental styles, installation and web-based forms, and also explore animation as craft.
