Planet Mechanics Workshop
Event Information
About this Event
Attention Moon Base Alpha – we are accepting new visitors! As space exploration continues to advance the next planned colony will be on the Moon. During this workshop participants will develop a better understanding of the relationship between the Earth, sun and Moon, including Moon phases and tides and of the challenges humans would face living in a lunar environment.
This program is recommended for children ages 6 – 11. Children must be accompanied by adults. Adults are encouraged to participate in the workshop with their children.
Your time slot will include 30 minutes in our Cosmic Courtyard Gallery and one hour to complete the workshop.
REGISTRATION:
Register your group for one of four time slots (10:00am, 11:30am, 1:30pm or 3:00pm). For each time slot you are permitted to bring a group with a maximum of 4 people.
Tickets are by donation, with a recommended value of $12 per person in each group.
We will be hosting 6 groups during each time slot.
