TUESDAY OCTOBER 22, 7:00PM - 8:30PM

Plant Based Proteins are becoming more popular by the minute! They are full of hormone free, cholesterol free protein and iron plus added nutrients, vitamins and fibre making them a very healthy part of your diet. In this workshop you will learn the best sources of plant based proteins, how to use them and simple ways to incorporate them into your day.

You'll learn:
-benefits of a plant based diet for your health and the planet
-go more into detail on all the healthy plant based proteins including veggies, beans, lentils, nuts, seeds, soy, grains
-what to look for in a protein powder
-processed 'meat' substitutes and why they shouldn't be your first choice
-quick, easy ways to get more plant based protein
-easy, healthy recipe ideas with a focus on plant based protein for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Kim is a Certified Integrative Health & Nutrition Coach passionate about teaching others how to eat mindfully and live vibrantly. Having struggled with chronic health issues before making the switch to a plant-based diet, she now strives to help anyone who wants to introduce plant-based nutrition into their life by making it easy.
