Description

Join Ursa Major wines and SOIL for a 6 course plant-based, vegan wine pairing dinner to celebrate spring, and the new wines being released by this up and coming wine label.

Ursa Major has already won several wards for previous vintages (Syrah in 2017, Silver, International New World Wine Competition, and Double Gold for their Chardonnay in 2018 Canadian Wine Competition).

This spring they are re-launching their brand with an updated look, and some new wines inspired by natural process.

Owner and one of the winemaking team, Rajen Toor will presen the wines we experience and guests will have an opportunity at the end of the evening to purchase directly.

Chefs Karen McAthy and Emily Davies have planned a thoughtful 6 course meal, highighting local, foraged, salvaged and fermented elements, with each course designed with its partnered wine in mind.

Dinner starts at 6pm (or a little after).

Eat good food, drink good wine, do it in a casual atmosphere with no pretense.

Bonus: Head wine maker Anthony of Desert Hills will also be on hand to pour Ancestral Method Sparkling wine, a treat that will be paired with the dessert course.
