Plant Families and Natural Pest Control
Wed, 1 March 2017, 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM EST
Part of the Start Your Garden Workshop Series!
#1 - Identifying Plant Families and Natural Pest Control
Every wonder what plant family beets are from? Or tomatoes? Knowing your plant families can be a great way to plan your garden, know why pests are attracted to particular plants and what nutrients (and how much) to provide, whether your garden is on a balcony or the ground.
This is a great workshop for beginner, or intermediate, gardeners that want to build a strong gardening foundation! There will be a short tour of the different plant families that we grow in the greenhouse.
Come to our free workshop on this subject with Concordia Greenhouse’s Four Seasons Growing Coordinator Andrew Alford.
FREE - RSVP Required
