About this event
In place of her indigenous plant walks, Senaqwila Wyss will be leading a virtual scavenger hunt! Learn about invasives & plant families in your backyard through this online actvity, and discover how to identify plants. A fun relaxed event for the whole family.
How to attend
This event will be a VIRTUAL event and will be held through Zoom. After registering, you will receive an email confirmation from Eventbrite with your link to the Zoom session. The session will also be recording and simulcasted to Facebook, but only registrants will be able to interact and ask questions to presenters.
Pricing
This is a FREE event, but there will be an option to pay what you can to support Wild Bird Trust's work and programs. Thank you for your support!
About the workshop leader
Senaqwila is of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, Tsimshian, Sto:lo, Swiss, and Hawaiian ancestry. She was trained traditionally by her mother, T’uyt’tanat Cease Wyss. Together, they founded Raven and Hummingbird Tea Co, and share their knowledge and love for indigenous plants broadly.
