Come join the crew as Playful Fox Productions presents our second musical of the 2022 season: “The Pirates of Penzance” at two glorious locations this May!

May 28 and 29 @ forParis Centre (inside Paris Presbyterian Church in Paris Ontario)

Based on the beloved classic “Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance”, come experience the songs you know and love like “I am the very model of a modern Major General” (made popular through many TV shows and pop culture references), and the famous Soprano aria “Poor Wandering One”, with an exciting updated script for today’s theatre audience.

SYNOPSIS:

Frederic, who has spent his formative years as a junior pirate, plans to mark his 21st birthday by breaking free from the Pirate King and beginning his courtship of Mabel. But because he was born on Feb. 29, a date that only arrives every fourth year, Frederic isn't technically 21 -- and the Pirate King is still his master. Unless something gives, Frederic will soon be on a collision course with the Pirate King's new nemesis: Mabel's father the Major-General.

Starring SEAN HAUK, formerly of the Stratford and Charlottetown Festivals (as well as Gaston in “Disney Beauty and the Beast”) as the PIRATE KING.

Also starring MALAKAI FOX as FREDERIC (Beast in "Disney's Beauty and the Beast", Prince Eric in "Disney's The Little Mermaid", Jean Valjean in "Les Miserables", Jesus in "Jesus Christ Superstar")

and SHANNON WIJNKER as MABEL (Fiona in "Brigadoon", Aquata in "Disney's The Little Mermaid", Bubu Padoop in "Dracula: The Musical?")

RAIN DATE POLICY:

Ticket holders will be able to transfer their purchased tickets to the following weekend of indoor performances in the case of cancellation due to inclement weather.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Playful Fox Productions will offer full refunds (less any Eventbrite fees) up to two weeks in advance of the opening performance. Any last minute cancellations after that date will be at the discretion of the company owners and only granted in the most extenuating circumstances.
